A New Day
I saw the most incredible thing this morning... Very simple really.
Yesterday, was a probably the worst day we had as a family. It's hard on all of us when my youngest, gets moody and goes off. Yesterday was probably the worst ever. At the end of the night, when he's tucked quietly in bed, he's just the sweetest thing ever though.
This morning, I was driving back home after dropping the boys off at school, and I just noticed the most incredible view. Like most of central Ohio, on the corner near our home is a corn field. This morning, it was still dark, foggy, and kind of chilly, a typical fall morning. The city was starting to wake up, the birds were quieting, lots of people driving to school or work, and kids walking around yelling and having fun.
As I got closer to home, I noticed the sun was starting to peak over the field. A beautiful red sun, making the sky all purpley blue, and the fog still laying low, lightly over the field. It was just incredible, nature had a powerful statement today, and it was beautiful.
Yes, it is a new day!
